A rememberance day poem i wrote

War

Boom, boom, boom
Go the guns all day long
For some this day will end in tears
Which will last for many years
Boom, boom, boom
The shells do shriek
Man against man
The futility of war

Bodies lie
Amongst the wounded as men doth cry
When will it end?
At what cost does man spend?
The human life can be short or long
For some the war is strong
In peace, sons bury their fathers
In war, fathers bury their sons
Under the cloudy skies
Men do wander, lives torn asunder
